Born in 1893, Joan Miro was a famous, Spanish Catalan artist. He did works in sculpture, painting, and worked as a ceramist. Born in the sea port city of Barcelona, much of his work was influenced by the scenic seaside town, and the distinct style that he found in the area.

Another fabulous Dali Etching, this one from the Don Quixote Suite.

“The Golden Helmet of Mandrino”, it shows Don Quixote receiving the Golden Helmet.

This is an etching with aquatint, produced in 1980 as a Signed Limited Edition. The edition consisted of 300 on Arches paper, a further 150 on Japon Nacre paper, 125 titled G and E and artists proofs.

This piece is in perfect condition and from the lower set on beautiful japon paper. The print is in the definitive reference book by Albert Field, reference Figure 80 on page 144. It is signed by Dali and authenticated on the reverse by Mr. Field who examined it in 1994.
